The patient presents with a breast volume of approximately E to F cup on the right side and F to G cup on the left side, with more noticeable sagging on the left breast.
In addition, the larger breast size has resulted in an areola diameter exceeding 7cm.
However, it’s fortunate that some upper chest volume has been preserved. Upon close inspection, it may seem like the upper chest has receded, but this effect is an exaggeration caused by the weight of the breast volume pulling downward, giving the appearance of upper chest reduction. In such cases, a vertical incision breast reduction surgery can effectively reduce volume and reshape the breast, gathering and securing the upper inner breast skin flap for an aesthetically pleasing result.
During the surgery, we removed 500g of tissue from the right breast and 604g from the left breast.
We also performed liposuction on both underarm areas.
Usually, I advise patients to start taking progress photos around one month post-surgery. However, due to unique circumstances, this patient was able to have photos taken just 9days after the procedure. This allows us to provide you with glimpse of the early post-surgery results.
Here is the appearance 9 days after the surgery.
Even though it’s only 9 days post-surgery , any lingering bruising is extremely minor, and there is very subtle swelling.
The volume and contour of both breasts now appear beautifully symmetrical, a remarkable transformation from their pre-surgery state.
Comparing the upper chest volume before and after the surgery, you can see a significant enhancement. This is a result of the precise tissue removal and expert breast reshaping, as mentioned earlier.
The results of liposuction on the underarm areas are also highly satisfying.
